The Baloise Group's new headquarters are located in the immediate vicinity of the Basel SBB railway station. The 34 mhigh, cuboid, eight-storey building with a gross floor area of 12,000m² appears visually as only four storeys.

The centre of operations.
This effect is achieved by having only every second ceiling level appear as a horizontal structuring element in the facade. The other ceiling levels remain hidden behind the glass facade. The facade facing the forecourt consists of curved glass elements that curve outwards between the visible supports. They create a three-dimensional depth effect on the facade.
In addition to office and meeting rooms and a catering area, the ground floor houses an art forum. The two basement levels contain building services rooms and parking spaces for cars.
The project will be certified according to the SNBSv2.0 building construction standard.
