Every two years, renovation and safety works take place on the narrow and winding Bristenstrasse to ensure continued safety.
In 2022, the contract for PORR SUISSE AG - following the works in 2017 and 2020 - included the renovation and partial reconstruction of retaining walls, retaining structures as well as roadway and drainage.
The work was carried out during temporary road closures and partly in night shifts.
